About the role

Goodwill Industries is dedicated to a positive, empowering, and growth‑focused work environment. The Apparel team member will work independently, applying an affinity for apparel brands and styles while contributing to the store’s success.

Responsibilities

• Obtain a general knowledge of apparel categories and sizing.
• Determine quality and value of items to be sold in the store.
• Provide quality assurance by checking items for imperfections.
• Price, size, and tag apparel and linens according to type.
• Hang salable goods on racks.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Willing and able to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, carry, or otherwise move up to 40 pounds regularly without support.
