Sorter

Position Summary

The Sorter role is responsible for verifying, scanning, and organizing parts to ensure accurate sequencing and proper placement within designated locations. This position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production flow, and ensuring quality and safety standards are consistently met.

Requirements

• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and standard work instructions at all times
• Verify and scan parts to ensure correct sequencing and placement
• Confirm all totes and containers are empty prior to processing and documentation
• Ensure containers are staged accurately in designated locations
• Perform visual quality checks on packaging and materials
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all sorting activities
• Support operational efficiency by adhering to established workflows and processes

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to distinguish between colors accurately
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow standardized processes and instructions
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred

Work Environment

Warehouse environment with moderate to high noise levels. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis. Required use of Personal Protective Equipment while on the shop floor. Exposure to moving equipment and operational activity within the facility.
