Sortation Center Associate

At SPAR, we are expanding our Day and Night Sortation Center Team. Join a fast-paced operation that helps keep packages moving efficiently from arrival to final delivery. Our sortation center focuses on processing, scanning, sorting, and routing packages. Associates work in a team environment to ensure packages are accurately sorted and prepared for delivery. Responsibilities

• Attend all training sessions and follow safety policies and procedures
• Sort, scan, and route packages accurately using handheld scanning devices
• Place packages onto designated carts, racks, and route staging areas
• Ensure accurate processing of merchandise and packages
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
• Report to work on time and complete all assigned tasks accurately
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through problem solving and teamwork
• Maintain a positive and respectful attitude while working independently and with others
• Comply with all facility policies, including dress code requirements

Qualifications

• Experience working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment preferred
• Ability to lift and move packages up to 40 pounds as needed
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift
• Basic math and organizational skills
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus
• Ability to operate a computer or handheld device (training provided)
• Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Access to reliable transportation for all required shifts

Pay

$18.50 per hour

Schedule

Day and Night Shifts - Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday (flexible work schedule)
