Job Description

We are looking for self-employed cooks and/or kitchen helpers at Sorobon Beach Club, Bonaire. The club is part of Sorobon Beach Resort on Bonaire, a tropical paradise in the Caribbean Netherlands. We are open 7 days a week from 9 AM to 6 PM.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh, daily meals without using pre-packaged items; all dishes are made in-house with passion and dedication.
• Work alongside the chef and kitchen brigade to serve fresh, high-quality food every day.
• Contribute to our clear concept: serving honest food, excellent service, friendliness, and ultimate hospitality.
• Manage a lunch menu, cocktail menu, and beachside lunch menu.
• Work in a mixed team including permanent staff and trainees from the Netherlands.
• Enjoy working in a laid-back atmosphere on a tropical island, both as a guest and employee.

Requirements

• Passion for your profession and a welcoming attitude.
• Experience in cooking and hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Motivation, sociability, loyalty, and pride in your work are essential qualities.

Qualifications

• Strong culinary skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of local cuisine and culture.
