Job Functions
- Qualified candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations utilizing state of the art GE equipment & Siemens equipment.
- Candidate is required to perform general ultrasound, paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsies, small parts, breast, OB, pelvic and vascular exams.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Effective communications skills and the ability to work well as a team player.
- Applicant must be comfortable performing exams in an outpatient as well as inpatient and emergency department setting.
Education
- Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduate of Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
Licensure/Certification
- ARDMS required within 6 months of employment.
Experience
- The ideal candidate should have 2+ years’ experience preferred.
Schedule
- Candidate must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and on call.
