Sonographer / Ultrasound Imaging Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to perform advanced ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging. The role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient comfort and safety, managing ultrasound equipment, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform diverse ultrasound procedures with professionalism and empathy
• Work closely with radiologists and physicians to ensure diagnostic accuracy
• Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment
• Accurately document procedures and manage patient records
• Stay updated on evolving ultrasound techniques and best practices

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field, with preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited program
• Active certification from ARDMS or equivalent
• Technical proficiency in ultrasound techniques and patient positioning
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
