Sonographer (Part-Time)

About the role

The Sonographer performs ultrasound imaging, including abdominal, small parts, obstetrical, and vascular studies, to assist in diagnosis and treatment. They may also help with needle procedures like biopsies and drainages.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper equipment function and readiness.
• Perform ultrasound examinations and document procedures accurately.
• Conduct studies independently, including on-call, portable exams, and at various sites as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate degree or equivalent from a trade school.
• Licenses such as RDMS or equivalent; preferred experience of 2+ years and CPR certification.
• Knowledge of ultrasound modalities and ability to operate imaging equipment.

Schedule

• 12-hour days, three days a week (Monday to Wednesday), with no weekends.
• On-call and holiday rotations are required.
