Sonographer - MFM

About the role

The Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer performs advanced diagnostic ultrasound scans, collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging and high‑quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed fetal anatomy assessments.
• Produce diagnostic images following established protocols.
• Accurately document findings.
• Support clinical education and professional growth.
• Collaborate with care teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills

• ARDMS registration in OB/GYN or Fetal Echo.
• Ability to perform complex exams independently.
• Supports MFM research.
• BLS certification required.
• Preference for at least three years of OB and MFM experience.
• Proficiency in obstetrical imaging and advanced techniques.
• Strong patient care, documentation, and team collaboration skills.

Physical & Other Requirements

• Manual dexterity and good vision to operate ultrasound equipment.
• Physical stamina to assist with patient transfers and navigate a busy healthcare environment.
• Ability to drive a vehicle if applicable.

Work Environment

• Positions support clinics in Utah.
• Typical workweek of 40 hours.

Pay

Compensation ranges from $43.09 to $66.47 per hour, based on experience.
