Sonographer - Clinic

About the Role

Responsible for performing ultrasonic diagnostic procedures following established standards, ensuring accurate imaging and assisting physicians with procedures such as amniocentesis.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound scans, explain procedures to patients, and position them appropriately.
• Select suitable transducers and operate ultrasound equipment to capture images.
• Assist with procedures like amniocentesis and participate in quality control and improvement initiatives.
• Support staff and student training, document test results, and enter data into reports.
• Monitor and manage inventory of supplies, notifying relevant personnel of low stock.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Sonography or completion from an accredited Radiology program.
• RDMS (OB/GYN) certification within one year.
• Preferred: 1-3 years of OB/GYN ultrasound experience.
• Effective communication skills, visual acuity, and ability to work in a team environment.
