About the Role

Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. As a Music & Lyrics Expert - Vietnamese, you will evaluate AI-generated music and lyrics, ensuring they meet high-quality standards in both Vietnamese and English.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated music across various genres.
• Rate music and lyrics against detailed quality standards in Vietnamese and English.
• Compare AI-generated lyrics with published songs to identify similarities.
• Assess lyrics based on quality, creativity, prompt adherence, and originality.
• Evaluate the naturalness of lyrics, including word choice, slang, and regional expressions.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while contributing to AI model performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Must-Have:
  • Native or near-native proficiency in Vietnamese.
  • Ability to follow detailed written instructions in English.
  • Experience as a songwriter, lyricist, performer, composer, or music journalist.
  • Knowledge of the Vietnamese music scene.
  • Headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening.
• Preferred:
  • Formal training in music performance, theory, or composition.
  • Credited or published songwriting work.
  • Broad familiarity with contemporary Vietnamese genres, sub-genres, and artists.

$18/hour

Schedule

20+ hours/week, remote

Duration: Up to 6 months
