Solutions Engineer II, Healthcare (C1 - B2B)

About the role

As a Solutions Engineer at CLEAR, you will ensure customers successfully integrate with the CLEAR platform, focusing on the Healthcare vertical. You will collaborate with Growth, Product, and Engineering teams to understand customer challenges, influence platform scalability, and act as a technical advocate throughout the sales and post‑sale lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead presales engagements: technical discovery, product and use‑case demos, RFP responses, solution scoping, and proof‑of‑concepts.
• Drive enterprise‑level customer integrations by building reference applications, prototypes, and architecture diagrams.
• Develop code samples, integrations, and applications across multiple languages and frameworks to demonstrate best practices and reduce customer development time.
• Support customers during presales, proof‑of‑concept, and integration phases, troubleshooting coding issues and guiding common patterns.
• Create and maintain public and internal documentation to scale the team’s knowledge base.
• Serve as the internal and external expert on CLEAR identity platform integration and usage.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to feed customer feedback and new feature requests into the product roadmap.
• Stay current on Healthcare industry trends and apply insights to identify new opportunities for CLEAR.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in sales engineering, solution engineering, or solution consulting.
• 2+ years of domain experience in health systems or health‑tech.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.

Skills

• Strong development experience with one or more full‑stack technologies (web or mobile front‑end and supporting back‑end).
• Deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle, common application architecture patterns, and developer tooling.
• Hands‑on experience with APIs, web, and mobile technologies.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to translate complex technical details into layperson terms.

Pay

The base salary range for this role is $130,000 – $160,000, dependent on skill level, experience, location, and performance. This range is one component of CLEAR’s total compensation package, which may also include annual bonuses, commissions, and Restricted Stock Units.
