Solutions Consultant

About the Role

The solution consultant will work with clients to help leverage their investment in our technologies. The ideal candidate will assist association clients in achieving their technology goals using methodologies consistent with our technology roadmap. This role is perfect for someone passionate about helping non-profit, member-based associations implement technology that improves staff and member experiences.

Responsibilities

• Acquire a fundamental understanding of our Products, Customer Support Policies, and the contractual agreements in place between our company and our clients.
• Engage with clients to understand their goals and design requirements.
• Provide advice and communicate a clear vision on how best to achieve project goals using tools, applications, and methodologies that deliver exceptional value.
• Develop functional requirements documentation for customer approval.
• Implement and support system configurations and testing based on client-approved requirements and according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Provide training to customers and participate in educational activities.
• Utilize a uniform approach to documenting and building solutions to ensure consistent ongoing support.
• Continuously study emerging tools, technologies, and business practices for the association marketplace and their application.
• Provide consulting services within project budgets.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of work experience in a related field.
• Solid technical skills, specifically with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (or similar) and related platforms.
• Understanding of CRM applications and basic database structures such as SQL.
• Experience with non-profit organization functions (membership management, meeting management, professional development, fundraising) is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Productivity Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and teams to ensure quality and timely project delivery.
• Comfortable taking initiative, being hands-on, and ensuring attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and a desire to turn clients into “Raving Fans.”
