Solutions Architect / Tech Lead
About the role
As a Solutions Architect / Tech Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing a large system that includes hybrid cloud and on-premises Kubernetes clusters. Your main focus will be on modernizing the existing system, identifying areas for improvement, and optimizing costs to align with mission objectives and budget constraints. Overall, your role as a Tech Lead will require you to have a deep understanding of various technologies and the ability to leverage them to enhance the system's performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Lead the modernization efforts of the deployed system.
- Determine enhancements needed for the system.
- Optimize costs to meet mission and budget needs.
- Manage hybrid cloud and on-premises Kubernetes clusters.
- Implement system architecture best practices.
- DevSecOps tools and practices.
- Manage containerization using Docker/Podman.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure smooth operations of the system.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree
- 10 to 12+ years of relevant experience
- Expertise in AWS Cloud, Linux, System Architecture, DevSecOps, Containers, Container Orchestration, Database Management, Big Data, and Query Technologies
- Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance is required
Pay
The base pay range for this position in California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is $165,500—$334,200 USD.
