Solutions Architect - Power and Utilities, AI Grid, Power Systems

Responsibilities

• Partner with industry teams to identify customer goals and develop GPU-accelerated grid solutions
• Prototype specific solutions for grid problems like forecasting and asset maintenance
• Develop industry direction by integrating the company technology for grid applications
• Collaborate with flagship customers and industry partners on computing platforms
• Leverage virtual tools for collaboration, with potential travel up to 20%
• Act as a technical advisor for projects involving advanced AI and grid modernization

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical or Power Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or equivalent experience
• Extensive knowledge in the power and utilities sector with hands-on experience in grid applications
• Proficient in power-system modeling and simulation tools like pandapower or MATLAB/Simulink
• Expertise in translating power-system problems into GPU-accelerated workflows
• Familiarity with grid data models and utility data systems
• Understanding of grid operations, interconnection, and regulatory environments
• Over 4 years of professional experience in power-systems engineering or data science with solid Python skills
