Solutions Architect, ISV

Amazon Web Services is looking for a highly motivated Solutions Architect to help accelerate customer adoption of AWS cloud. As a Solutions Architect in the ISV Industry Solutions team, you will work directly with ISV customers focused on Healthcare & Life Sciences. You will help influence customers' architectural choices across broad use cases involving security, compute, storage, networking, as well as advanced scenarios involving serverless, analytics, and AI/ML. You will provide exceptional technical design and thought leadership, capture and share best-practice knowledge, and collaborate with some of the brightest technical minds in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Ensure success in building and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform as part of the account management team.
- Formulate and execute a strategy to drive customer adoption of AWS.
- Educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
- Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many enablement sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS.
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community.
- Author or contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers, blogs, and workshops.
- Build deep relationships with senior technical stakeholders within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates.
- Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support.
Requirements
- 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
- 4+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
- 4+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
- Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.

Pay
The base salary range for this position varies by location:
- USA, CA, Irvine: $131,300.00 - $177,600.00 USD annually
- USA, CA, San Francisco: $151,000.00 - $204,300.00 USD annually
- USA, MA, Boston: $131,300.00 - $177,600.00 USD annually
- USA, NY, New York: $144,500.00 - $195,400.00 USD annually
- USA, VA, Arlington: $131,300.00 - $177,600.00 USD annually
Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
