About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Permanent Solutions Architect III - 3PL to join our team. This role is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to be at the forefront of creating and implementing cutting-edge solutions for our third-party logistics (3PL) operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing the technical aspects of our logistics solutions, ensuring they align with our business needs and objectives. The role involves working closely with various teams and stakeholders to create scalable, reliable, and efficient systems that drive our operations forward.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of our 3PL solutions, ensuring they meet our business requirements and are aligned with our strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies for the integration of various systems including ERP, WMS, OMS, and TMS platforms.
  • Ensure the efficient and secure exchange of data through EDI.
  • Drive the adoption of cloud technologies such as AWS and Microsoft Azure to enhance our operations and services.
  • Utilize Microsoft Power Platform to automate tasks, streamline processes, and improve decision-making.
  • Implement containerization strategies using Docker and Kubernetes to enhance scalability and reliability of our systems.
  • Monitor and manage system performance, ensuring issues are promptly identified and resolved.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the logistics or supply chain industry.
  • Proven experience working with ERP, WMS, OMS, and TMS platforms.
  • Proficiency in EDI and experience with data integration.
  • Solid experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Pay
