For our client, a leader in the Finance & Insurance space, we are seeking a Solutions Architect to support financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a regulated financial services environment.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a multi-year technology vision for Finance
  • Partner with Finance leadership on technology investments
  • Guide strategic technology investment decisions assessing business value and long-term sustainability
  • Establish architecture principles and governance for scalable solutions
  • Lead technical decisions and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture
  • Foster a culture of innovation within the engineering team
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to various stakeholders

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, architecture, or technology leadership
  • Proven success in leading architecture for large-scale enterprise platforms
  • Experience in developing high-performing technical teams
  • Strong executive communication skills to influence across organizational boundaries
  • Deep expertise in enterprise architecture and modern distributed architectures
  • Experience with cloud-native platforms, especially AWS, and modern integration patterns
  • Preferred experience in the insurance industry, particularly with Personal Lines P&C and specific platforms like Duck Creek

Pay

$150,000 – $175,000 annually

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
