About the Role
The Solutions Architect is a senior technical position at Thrive, serving as a key resource for sales efforts. This role involves direct technical support to sales executives, customer engagement in complex sales opportunities, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure up-to-date knowledge of service capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct technical support to sales executives and engage with customers on complex sales opportunities.
- Validate all sales orders and enhance service and product descriptions.
- Interface with operations and engineering teams to stay updated on new service capabilities.
- Participate in customer meetings, lead technical discussions, and present Thrive solutions to various levels within client organizations, including CIOs.
- Act as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers, solving both business and technical challenges.
- Create documentation, including diagrams and technical specifics, to ensure completeness and supportability of solutions.
- Prioritize areas of focus by reviewing sales pipelines with supported sales reps and managers.
- Participate in customer-focused seminars, tradeshows, events, presentations, technology roadmap reviews, and training.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and products, attain certifications, and participate in industry events.
- Provide ongoing product technical training to the Thrive direct sales organization and channel partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher)
- Experience working at a Managed/Cloud Service Provider in a Solutions Architect or comparable role, collaborating with clients, and working alongside the sales team.
- 8+ years’ experience with the design and implementation of infrastructure solutions, including:
- Cyber Security
- VMware/Hyper-V
- Windows / Linux
- Office 365/Microsoft Exchange
- Hybrid Cloud Services (Private, Azure, AWS, Google, etc.)
- Networking
- Firewalls
- Relational Databases
- Disaster Recovery
- AI
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to articulate technical information to a broad audience.
