Solutions Architect

About the role

The Solutions Architect develops solutions and supports the sales team with proposal generation of security technology systems and implementation. The successful candidate will be innovative, open-minded, self-motivated with a professional attitude, have strong communication skills, and thrive in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the sales team with site surveys and client needs analysis.
• Develop detailed and accurate security technology solutions, including access control, video surveillance, biometrics, and network infrastructure.
• Generate detailed technical scope of work and methods of procedure for solution implementation.
• Work with and develop relationships with technology partners and distribution channels.
• Analyze blueprints, technical design specifications, and site survey information to produce compliant and accurate engineered solutions and proposals to meet client operational and security needs.
• Organize solution review and technical discussions with internal and external teams.
• Research and evaluate emerging security technologies to expand the solutions toolbox.
• Perform other duties as business and client needs arise.

Requirements

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and follow up effectively.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background investigation.
• Flexibility to work extended hours when needed.
• Follows safe and secure practices to safeguard against injury, damage to property, and confidential information.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar position in the security technologies field.
• Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
• Experience with IP Video Surveillance, Access Control, and IP Networking.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Travel up to 50% to client sites, including manufacturing, distribution centers, office buildings, and construction sites.

Qualifications

• Manufacturer certifications or experience with platforms such as Honeywell ProWatch, S2, Genetec, CCure 800/9000, Milestone, Salient, or Open Path.
