Solutions Architect

About the role

The Solutions Architect is part of the Customer Success organization and the Box Consulting team. This role works across Box and with customers to define and build out complex solutions. The Solutions Architect plays a critical role in building and sustaining customer and partner relationships while driving the adoption of the Box product and platform.

Responsibilities

• Advising enterprises on designing applications for custom document vaults.
• Helping customers migrate millions of files into Box.
• Advising customers on integrating Box into their custom CRMs.
• Handling in-depth technical questions during meetings and sales calls.
• Developing project scope documentation, statements of work, technical specifications, and business requirements related to customer engagements.
• Owning the development and delivery of differentiated custom solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of development, consulting, or professional services experience.
• Expertise in architecture/system design for cloud solutions (APIs, DevOps, Infrastructure, middleware, scale limits, rate limits, etc.).
• Experience working with one or more of the following: Python, TypeScript, Node.js (MEAN stack), Java, .NET, Visualforce.
• Establish technical delivery expertise based on market trends, research, and customer requirements.
• Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across Sales and Customer Success to execute on successful GTM strategies.
• Accurately forecast capacity and deliver upon revenue targets.
• Team with Solutions Consultants to support bookings target attainment.

Qualifications

• Intellectually curious and a passionate learner who loves sharing knowledge with others.
• Adept at architecting and designing technical solutions with the right mix of Box configurations/APIs, other SaaS technologies, integration technologies, and partner tools to balance configuration and customization.
• Confident presenting detailed technical information to executives and positioning ideas to all levels including line of business managers, 'C' level executives, Developers, and IT Architects.
• Understand REST APIs and JSON.
• Have the ability to distill complex technical solutions and industry solutions into their digestible parts.

Skills

• Expertise in Enterprise Content Management systems and cloud migrations.

Pay

United States Pay Range: $142,000 USD - $170,000 USD
