About the role
Solutions Architect for St. Louis, MO to support application & data integration platforms; develop & implement product roadmap and features for data integration; document & demonstrate solutions and design patterns; collaborate with cross-functional business stakeholders to understand data integration needs & develop products and technologies to meet those needs; identify & assess emerging technologies for potential use; introduce new technologies & support required architectural changes within API, AI, and data integration platforms; design, develop, support & operate API and AI integration solutions.
Telecommuting permitted from home office location within reasonable commuting distance of St. Louis, MO up to 3 days per week. Up to 20% U.S. and international travel required.
Requirements
- Master’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely-related field & 3 years experience in IT-related position(s) with:
- Architecting, designing and testing cloud services and SaaS solutions in AWS;
- Working with cloud services & cloud-based architectures including containerized solutions and serverless architecture services including AWS Snowball Edge, Data Pipelines, ECS Fargate, EKS, GKE and AKS;
- Managing Kubernetes services in containerized environments;
- Applying modern software development tools & processes, including Agile development methods, CI/CD, DevOps, and Git code repositories;
- Developing solutions for API & data integration platforms, including MuleSoft and Envoy Gateway, using RUST, WASM, Python, and Node;
- Creating proof of concepts & minimum viable products for API discovery and documentation generation focused on crop science and/or agriculture using PDK, Open API tools, LLM’s, and CARGO.
- Will also accept a Bachelor’s degree in stated fields with 5 years progressive, post-Bachelor’s stated experience.

Pay
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $147,000.00 to $165,000.00. The offered salary may vary within this range based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, skills, prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
