Solution Specialist

About the role

In this role, you will help merchants succeed by leveraging the latest Point of Sale technology. As an outside sales account executive, you are the heart of the Shift4 sales force and a driving force in leading the global Point of Sale systems market.

Responsibilities

• Set appointments with merchants to present Point of Sale and Shift4 merchant servicing products.
• Prospect over the phone, face-to-face through networking, and by building referral partnerships.
• Assist existing clients with additional add-on services including Hardware, Software, and Professional Services.
• Build relationships with merchants by listening to their needs and resolving outstanding issues.
• Explain the value of Shift4 products using your laptop or Point of Sale device.
• Listen, identify, and qualify sales opportunities to up-sell additional products and services.
• Develop new accounts and target areas for new growth or market value.
• Exhibit a high level of professionalism and apply company policies to effectively grow market share.
• Sign new logos in your assigned territory.
• Develop knowledge of current products and services as well as industry changes and updates.
• Maintain regular communication with your direct manager.
• Attend weekly meetings to review your Pipeline and forecast new opportunities.

Qualifications

• Willingness to cold-call and set in-person meetings with potential clients.
• Willingness to close deals in a fast-paced sales cycle.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and hunter-like mentality.
• Computer and smartphone literacy.
• Background in door-to-door or outside sales experience.
• Ability to meet sales quotas.
• CRM experience.
• Restaurant or hospitality experience is a plus.
• Valid Driver’s License.
