About the role

The role leads the development and maintenance of large, enterprise-wide application systems, supporting key projects for the client's member platform. The Opportunity includes customer engagement and business alignment, technical leadership and strategic vision, change management and coordination, technical review and quality assurance, solution delivery, strategic and long-term planning, operational oversight and system monitoring, and enterprise solutions review.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain active relationships with customers to understand and gather business requirements.
  • Lead requirements gathering meetings and review design proposals with the business to ensure alignment with organizational needs.
  • Prioritize projects and make informed trade-offs concerning enterprise systems changes, always considering the broader business objectives.
  • Lead technology evaluation and participate in proof-of-concept projects to enable innovative solutions.
  • Owning the change request process and coordinating with other teams as needed, ensuring smooth implementation and communication across departments.
  • Develop and define application scope and objectives, and supervise the preparation of technical and functional specifications from which code will be written.
  • Conduct technical design and code reviews for pull requests, ensuring unit testing meets the test plan requirements.
  • Complete system testing and implement according to plan to maintain high quality standards.
  • Deliver application technology solutions and contribute to execution planning efforts.
  • Drive adoption of AI First Software Development Practice, leveraging AI agents and end-to-end software development workflow automation including requirement gathering, JIRA epic creation, code development, code review, and test automation.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 10+ Years
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required, along with at least 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Candidates should have expertise in multi-dimensional platforms and both business and technical applications, or possess an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience mentoring others to drive teams to achieve results, lead multiple or large projects, and provide hands-on development and troubleshooting supports.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in object-oriented design, EKS container platform, and public cloud platforms such as AWS.
  • Experience in architecture, designing, and hands-on development of large web-based applications using Web 2.0 technologies such as JavaScript, AngularJS, NodeJS, Java, CSS, HTML.
  • Experience in architecture and designing large mobile applications in React Native.
  • Experience in design and architecture of micro-services based APIs and Service Mesh.
  • Experience in implementing and leading adoption of modern DevOps process automation using tools such as Bitbucket, Bamboo, SonarQube, and Checkmarx.
  • Experience in SAFe Agile practice for software development and knowledge in Agile tools such as JIRA and Agilecraft.
  • Experience in test automation practices and tools such as qTest, WebDriverIO, Lambda Test.
  • Experience in implementing instrumentation and monitoring of large systems with tools like Splunk, DataDog, Instana etc.
  • Experience in vSphere coding with modern IDEs (Cursor, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot etc.) with AI agent is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in AI First SDLC with end-to-end development process automation is a plus.
