As a Senior Manager in Solution Architecture, you will drive the delivery of complex solutions aligned with strategic business objectives. You will manage budgets, oversee project delivery, ensure performance outcomes, and build and maintain valuable client and commercial relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of technical solutions, ensuring quality and managing operational risks.
- Engage in delivery leadership, project management, and client interactions across all project phases.
- Travel frequently to meet client needs and project requirements.
- Solve complex problems using proven methods and evaluative criteria.
- Influence policy and procedural changes with potential broad business impact.
- Provide direction and feedback to teams, contributing to performance evaluations and the hiring process.
- Partner with customer technical leads, client executives, sales teams, and partners to manage and deliver successful cloud solution implementations, serving as a trusted advisor to decision-makers.
- Own end-to-end architecture: from business requirements and conceptual design through delivery, production, and evolution.
- Lead and influence engineering teams without direct authority, providing technical guidance and setting architectural standards, patterns, and guardrails.
- Stay at the forefront of new modern technologies and bring them within the larger team.
- Ensure successful engineering delivery of assigned projects with hands-on involvement as needed.
- Work with the engineering team to package best practices and lessons learned into thought leadership and published assets.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree, with a preference for a Master’s degree.
- A minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience architecting and delivering large-scale, highly distributed, cloud-native systems on AWS, Azure, or GCP, including responsibility for architectural decisions, trade-offs, and outcomes.
- Strong background in software engineering, with hands-on experience in at least two modern programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript), and the ability to review, guide, and influence implementation quality.
- Deep expertise in software architecture and design principles, including microservices, event-driven systems, serverless, APIs, data architecture, scalability, resiliency, multi-cloud, and security-by-design.
- Experience designing and delivering AI/ML or LLM-based business solutions in production environments.
- Experience using AI-native tools to accelerate software engineering outcomes.
- Ability to communicate business needs in written and spoken form and translate them into technical solutions.

Pay
The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $151,500 to $346,000. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento) is $181,800 to $393,200. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a variety of factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.

Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client-serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project, or year.
