About the role

Lead architecture governance process including architecture review boards, technology assessments, and conformance to key design principles. Serve as the primary technical advisor to senior leadership on all matters related to AI, including opportunities, risks, and competitive landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and deliver business solutions, platforms, and products leveraging Generative AI, including LLMs.
  • Define and articulate new architectural options and strategies to solve complex business and technical problems.
  • Contribute to architectural design discussions and decisions for new features and system enhancements.
  • Implement inter-service communication patterns within a microservices ecosystem.
  • Develop and integrate AI-driven features or enhancements into the application landscape.
  • Integrate AI/Machine Learning models and services into existing microservices and applications.
  • Manage and prioritize tasks effectively, and make strong decisions with a forward-thinking approach to anticipate and respond to technological and market influences.

Requirements

  • TOGAF Certification is required.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of relevant experience in an engineering and architectural role in Cash Management, Intra-day Liquidity, Payments, Financial Ledger, Regulatory reporting areas in Financial Services.
  • 7+ years' experience in leading large scale enterprise architecture initiatives within banking, financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of banking systems, financial services platforms, core banking, data platforms, market infrastructure providers, and regulatory frameworks.
  • World-class expertise in building GenAI led business solutions, with a proven track record of designing and delivering business solutions, platforms, and products.
  • Deep and authoritative knowledge of Generative AI, including LLMs, and extensive experience architecting and working with technology teams in building complex, production-grade Agentic solutions.
  • Experience working on large technology projects using industry-standard delivery methodologies (e.g., Agile/Scrum/Kanban).
  • Experience working in enterprise architect and technology strategy roles.
  • Ability to develop working relationships and contribute to architectural design discussions and decisions for new features and system enhancements.
