About the role

The Team We are seeking an Enterprise Solutions Architect to work with the wider IT department. The role involves working with internal stakeholders to understand their IT and business needs, proposing, and designing solutions that align with the company's value proposition, and ensuring that the solutions meet high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand their IT and business needs.
  • Propose and design solutions that align with the company's value proposition.
  • Ensure that the solutions meet high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate and communicate well with all levels of an organization; ability to translate overly complex or technical terms into easily understandable terms.
  • Be highly self-motivated, and self-sufficient yet also be a key team player.
  • Initiate and lead teams, and collaborate with other members of the team in developing complex end-to-end enterprise solutions on Microsoft Azure platform.
  • Analyze complex ideas or proposals and build a range of significant recommendations.
  • Use several sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop solutions and recommendations.
  • Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making.
  • Simplify complex messages, highlighting and summarizing key points.
  • Design, commission, and enhance new/current subject areas.
  • Implement new or upgraded cloud data strategies and Microsoft Azure platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution in computer science.
  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience as an Enterprise Solutions Architect or in a related field.
  • Prior professional services experience preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Azure, Informatica and Snowflake experience.

Qualifications

  • Plus, but not required: Prior working experience using ServiceNow, prior working experience using Workday.

Skills

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical and data analytics skills with diligent attention to detail, solid business analysis, customer interaction, and problem-solving skills, experience in defining and/or improving business processes, a professional and positive approach to opportunities, projects, and challenges alike, conceptual knowledge and/or experience with artificial intelligence (AI) and other automation platforms & technology a plus.

Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are also entitled to participate in Alvarez & Marsal Holdings’ fringe benefits consisting of healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages at rates determined periodically as well as a 401(k) retirement savings plan. Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive an annual discretionary contribution to their 401(k) retirement savings plan from Alvarez & Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave.

Pay

The salary range is $125,000 - $155,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography.
