Soldering Specialist- Sign-On Bonus

Responsibilities

  • Perform hand soldering of basic SMT and through-hole components under supervision.
  • Support operation of Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment for SMT and through-hole boards.
  • Inspect own work for visible defects and escalate issues as needed.
  • Follow detailed work instructions and maintain compliance with ESD and safety protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and organized soldering workstation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, ITAR).
  • Contribute to process documentation, training, and ongoing improvements that drive operational success.
  • Perform other duties or support other areas as needed, based on business requirements or production flow.

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: 2+ years of soldering experience in manufacturing or related environments.
  • Skills: Ability to interpret work instructions and basic technical drawings, proficiency in operating soldering and inspection tools, ability to read, write, and comprehend English to interpret work instructions, documentation, and safety requirements.

Qualifications

  • Must be U.S. persons within the definition of ITAR, with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods at soldering stations.
  • Lift and handle materials or boards up to 20 lbs.
  • Fine manual dexterity for soldering and inspection tasks.
  • Use of microscopes and small tools for extended durations.
  • Work in ESD-controlled production environments.
