Solar Site Survey Technician

Responsibilities

• Visit job sites and determine if they’re solar-worthy (you’ll check out rooftops, attic structures, shading, and more).
• Take precise measurements, snap photos, and gather intel like a renewable energy secret agent.
• Assess electrical systems and figure out where our solar magic plugs in.
• Keep things running smoothly by performing maintenance and troubleshooting solar systems.
• Collaborate with sales, design, and install teams — we’re all about teamwork!
• Educate customers on how solar works and how awesome it is (spoiler: it’s very awesome).

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally.
• Preferred previous experience in construction, electrical, or solar (handy and eager to learn also considered).
• Physically comfortable driving and sitting for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting/pulling/pushing up to 50 lbs. and lifting up to 20 lbs. overhead.
• Ability to work in varied physical positions (bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, etc.).
• Willingness to work outdoors and on rooftops in all weather conditions.

Skills

• People skills – you’ll be chatting with customers and working closely with our teams.
• Sharp problem‑solving abilities – if something’s not working, you’ll help figure it out.
• Math chops – measuring roofs, calculating angles, and evaluating electrical needs.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety practices.
• A love for learning – we work with the latest tech and want you to grow with us!

Pay

Salary, Exempt - $70,000 a year

Full-Time Regular
