Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage multiple utility scale solar projects
- Owner interface and resource planning at program level
- Support superintendents in owner discussions
- Work with Project Management team for subcontracts
- Support and mentor direct reports as well as manage performance reviews
- Create, distribute, and enforce best practices for Electrical Field Operations
- Project completion and closeout coordination
- Creation and monitoring of safety initiatives
- Help manage procurement and engineering schedule
- Assist with scheduling shared resources
- Afford managing subcontracted resources across portfolio
- Cooordinating with other departments for resource expectations (QC, commissioning, substation, etc.)
- Budget and schedule reporting
- Supports Project Executive in project change discussions
- Front end/design involvement
- Oversees internal design review and coordination
- Coordinate with Pre-Construction for site visits
- Interviewing and onboarding of new salaried personnel
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education And Work Experience
- Bachelor's in construction management, engineering or related field preferred
- 5 years’ experience as the General Superintendent on utility scale solar projects
- Journeyman or masters license (including NASCLA or other way to demonstrate proficiency in electrical best practices), or ability to obtain within 6 months after hire
- STS-C Certification at a minimum, or the ability to obtain within 6 months after hire
- Experience with multiple direct reports and an exceptional ability to lead and manage project teams is a necessity
