Solar Performance Engineer/Analyst

About the role

A mission-driven global leader in independent engineering for the renewable energy industry is hiring a Senior Engineer/Analyst for their Performance Engineering team in the Solar Advisory group. This role focuses on the design and development phase of the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Compilation, validation and analysis of meteorological data for solar resource assessments
• Estimation of plant losses and calculation of assessment uncertainties
• Evaluation of project constraints and risks
• Generation of Energy Production Estimates and creation of Reports for Clients
• Communicating effectively with clients on complex technical issues

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s of Science degree in Engineering
• c.8 years of related solar energy engineering/analysis experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate technical verbiage effectively
• Experience working directly with customers to present technical results/findings
• Heavily detail-orientated
