Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot solar panels and equipment.
  • Complete installations to the highest standards, including safety and quality.
  • Provide customer service and answer client questions.
  • Work with the installation team to complete projects efficiently.
  • Experience with the proper installation and alignment of racking systems for both rooftop and ground mount solar arrays, ensuring secure and stable mounting that meets all safety standards and maximizes energy efficiency.
  • Conduct electrical work, including wiring and connecting solar system components.
  • Participate in toolbox talks, safety audits, and related safety functions.
  • Analyze blueprints effectively and utilize such information on the jobsite.
  • Work as a member of a cohesive team while demonstrating the ability to work without direct supervision.
  • Clean and maintain the job site, tools, and vehicles.
  • Maintain compliance with all OSHA, Faith Technologies, and customer-specific safety requirements, and immediately identify, correct, or report any unsafe acts, conditions, or incidents in a timely manner.
  • Actively participate in Faith’s hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Requirements

This position requires an understanding of electrical systems and construction practices. Travel is expected to be 50-75%, with a work schedule between the hours of 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays. The ability to work a flexible schedule is necessary.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: Specialized Technical Training.

Skills

  • Understanding of electrical systems and construction practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of racking systems for both rooftop and ground mount solar arrays.
  • Experience with electrical work, including wiring and connecting solar system components.
  • Ability to analyze blueprints and utilize such information on the jobsite.
  • Compliance with OSHA, Faith Technologies, and customer-specific safety requirements.

Pay

Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Flexible schedule with a primary workday between 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday, with potential for additional hours as needed.
