Safety
- Follows safety and security procedures and determines appropriate action. Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.
- Ensures that safety is the most important function, follows safe practices while working.
- Reinforces safe behaviors and eliminates “at risk” behaviors.
- Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.
- Ensures Job Hazard Analysis (JHA’s) occurs before scopes of work commence.
- Adheres to and understands standard operating procedures.
- Receives job- and task-specific training prior to work commencing.
- Follows technical, quality and safety systems in place and determines appropriate action.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED Required.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering or construction management (or equivalent) or 2 years equivalent and relevant work experience, preferred.
- 1 + year of experience in BESS, Substation, Transmission, and/or renewable energy EPC contract experience, preferred.
- Ability to travel 76-100% of the time domestically required.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Construction site safety and OSHA requirements.
- Reading prints and drawings and taking off quantities.
- Interpretation and understanding Contract documents including scopes of work (SOW), schedule of value (SOVs) and budgets.
- Use of computer software, including Heavy Job, Bluebeam, Procore, Microsoft Office suite, and other proprietary systems.
- Interpretation and understanding of project schedules.
- Vendor and materials management.
- Functional competencies include accountability, communication, responsibility/stewardship, teamwork, prioritization, and self-knowledge & self-learning.
