Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Mounting of devices and field interface panels
- Install EMT and Rigid conduit
- Determine the number of cables and wires to be run in conduit pulls or open cable pulls between devices and field interface panels
- Install and mount high voltage AC/DC power for inverters
- Install high-voltage disconnects
- Install and configure solar panels
- Install high voltage and low voltage wiring
- Calculate cable/wire pulls in conduit to ensure conduit maximum fill
- Identify all cables and wires with wire numbers and maintain documented as-builts of the numbering
- Pull cables and wiring
- Collaborate with Project Manager, Supervisors, and other team members to ensure timely project completion
- Terminate wiring using design drawings
- Create and daily maintain an as-built record of installation
- Maintain Daily Reports to be forwarded to the Foreman/Project Manager
- Assist Commissioning Technicians with commissioning and startup
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in a commercial or industrial environment
- Electrical Journeyman license required
- Ability to properly bend, tread, and install rigid conduit
- Proven in-depth knowledge of related building codes, regulations, and ordinances
- Proven ability to effectively read, interpret, and work from plans, schematics, and drawings
- Prior experience in project estimation of electrical labor, materials, and equipment
- Strong interpersonal skills and good customer service skills
- Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver’s license and in good standing
