About the role

As a pivotal member of the Sunrun retail team, you will embody the essence of our brand within designated partner retail stores, playing a vital role in influencing potential customers. Your impact will be measured by your ability to foster relationships, generate enthusiasm for our products, and educate potential customers on renewable energy and storage solutions. This role requires you to proactively schedule appointments and contribute to expanding the Sunrun customer base. Success in this position hinges on your focus on positively influencing every individual you encounter.

Pay

Potential earnings range from $58,800 to $80,328 (location and personal success dependent), with top performers earning up to $160,000+ per year. Your compensation will directly reflect your impact and effort, including:

• Competitive hourly base pay and uncapped commissions for generating new solar appointments.
• Average compensation in California (Base pay + Incentives) for the first 12 months ranges from $53,654.40 to $89,534.40 (personal success dependent).

The starting salary/wage complies with local wage requirements and is not based on a candidate's salary history.

Responsibilities

• Foster relationships and generate enthusiasm for Sunrun’s products in partner retail stores.
• Educate potential customers on renewable energy and storage solutions.
• Proactively schedule appointments to expand the Sunrun customer base.
• Commit to a flexible retail schedule, including weekends, evenings, and occasional holidays.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
• Self-motivation and a genuine passion for Sunrun’s mission.
• Reliable transportation within a 15-30 mile radius to manage a multi-store territory.
• Ability to stand and be mobile for extended periods, including lifting up to 25 pounds as part of daily responsibilities.
