Software Verification Engineer I

Title: Software Verification Engineer I Location: St. Paul, MN – Abbott Technology Center Duration: 6 Month (Potential to extension) 100% Onsite Summary This position is for a Research and Development Engineer, working with the Computer Systems Engineering team. We are looking for a talented individual to help us with the product development process. The position will assist with the Computer Systems Engineering development team in component qualification, software verification, and design transfer in the Abbott Electrophysiology division. Duties And Responsibilities Responsible for the development, qualification, and release of computer system component and software releases for Abbott Electrophysiology SystemsReview and development of product requirements, test plans and test protocolsExecution of software and computer system verification protocolsEnhances and documents medical device functionalityCollaborate with product management, customer care, quality, regulatory, production, and other engineering disciplines to deliver upon product delivery objectives and business goalsYears of Experience: Preferred 1 to 2 years’ experience in engineering, computer science, information technology, or related fields.Education: Preferred minimum of Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or related fields. Experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
