About the role

Lucayan Technology Solutions LLC is a trusted government contracting partner delivering secure, innovative solutions in support of national defense and intelligence missions. The company is based in the Tampa Bay area but offers a remote position with the possibility of transitioning to a hybrid schedule in the future.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test cases and test plans for enterprise web applications and APIs
• Perform unit, integration, and regression testing throughout the software development lifecycle
• Support static and dynamic code scanning using Fortify, Sonatype, and BurpSuite
• Document test results, defects, and remediation status in an issue tracking system
• Verify Section 508 accessibility compliance and design standards in application interfaces
• Validate vulnerability remediation and support security scan closure activities
• Develop test automation recommendations to improve testing efficiency
• Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve defects efficiently

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required
• Security Clearance: minimum T3 clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of software testing or QA experience
• Familiarity with unit, integration, and regression testing methodologies
• Understanding of Agile/DevSecOps workflows
• Experience with Fortify, Sonatype, or BurpSuite security testing tools
• Test automation experience (Selenium, JUnit, or similar)
• Preferred: ISTQB or equivalent testing certification
• Preferred: Security+ for security testing functions
