Software Tester

Pay

Base pay: $33.00 – $33.07 per hour.

Non‑exempt positions are eligible for overtime at 1.5 × the base hourly rate for any hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts within the stated range are determined by factors such as relevant skills, education, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and cross‑functional teams.
• Detect, track, and document software defects, performance issues, and inconsistencies.
• Design, execute, and maintain functional, regression, and performance test cases for mobile apps and system features.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports and feedback to the development team.
• Validate firmware, connectivity (Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, LTE/5G), and hardware interactions.
• Conduct manual and automated testing as per defined procedures and quality criteria.
• Perform testing throughout all phases of the mobile software life cycle — design, develop, test, release, and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Beginner level: 0‑3 years of experience in mobile software or QA testing.
• Ability to handle multiple testing tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong understanding of mobile Android OS platforms and device ecosystems.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork and cross‑functional collaboration abilities.
• Excellent time‑management and documentation skills.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.

Skills

• Experience with mobile test tools (e.g., ADB, Jira, TestRail, or similar) is a plus.
