Software Test Engineering Manager

Lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. Work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. Influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a life sciences environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software test engineers
• Define and implement the overall test strategy
• Establish test plans, schedules, and quality metrics
• Drive test automation adoption and continuous testing practices
• Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, and DevOps teams
• Identify and track defects and quality risks
• Oversee test environments and tools for efficient testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8-12+ years of experience in software testing or quality engineering
• 3-5+ years in managing software test/QA teams
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and lifecycle processes
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Demonstrated skills in test planning and defect management
• Solid communication across technical and non-technical teams

Pay

$150,000 – $281,250 annually
