Software Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Execution of test plans for Linux and VxWorks software development efforts
• Hardware and software integration efforts
• Test planning and development
• Develop test plans, test procedures, and test tools for multiple programs
• Perform testing of both HW and SW systems, isolate failures, and propose solutions
• Interface with DoD clients executing formal sell off test events and integration test periods
• Work closely with development teams when bugs are identified to track and resolve issues

Requirements

• You Must Have:
• An active DoD secret clearance
• BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant discipline and 5 years of experience or MS grad with degree and 3 years of experience
• Test execution experience in software environments, and documentation of test results
• Experience with test tracking software tools
• We Prefer:
• Experience and knowledge of software development in C
• Experience working with embedded systems
• Experience with Atlassian toolset (i.e. Jira and Confluence)
• Experience in QA or configuration management

Qualifications

• Years of Experience Required: 5-8 years
• Education Level Required: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)

Pay

Pay Range: $80-95/hr

Schedule

Duration: 8 months
