Job Summary

Contribute to the Quality efforts for digital products in our custom software portfolio. Provide mobile software quality engineering support at the product team level. Communicate with and present to internal customers. Work closely with product teams and product management to understand requirements and translate them into test cases that capture all test conditions. Own the creation, maintenance, and execution of test plans and test cases against our software platforms, estimating test efforts, analyzing, and communicating test results, Peer reviews, defect tracking, and participating in day-to-day Quality Engineering Activities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related field.
  • Two (2) years of experience in Quality Engineering.
  • Two (2) years of experience with testing concepts, test processes, test design skills, and testing techniques, which may have been gained as part of or in addition to the Qualify Engineering experience.
  • Additional hands-on experience must include:
    • Creation of test plans, test cases, and managing defects in project repositories such as JIRA or Azure DevOps (ADO).
    • Testing backend systems and functional applications across all phases of testing, including release/cutover testing and post-release validation.
    • Working in all phases of testing including production releases.
    • Test automation framework Appium or Playwright, API testing, and device testing grids, framework architecture, CI/CD integration, and applying DevOps principles related to software testing for COTS/custom web solutions, mobile automation tools, and ability to debug automation scripts, parsing and creating locators for webpages and mobile apps, HTML and CSS, NodeJS, Typescript, jQuery, performance testing, and security penetration testing, Azure DevOps and Azure Test Plans or JIRA and QTest, accessibility testing concepts and WCAG accessibility standards, working in agile teams as a Quality Automation Engineer, testing on integrated test environments.

Qualifications
