Software Release Manager

Condesign Engineering is seeking a Software Release Manager to join our team as a consultant in Gothenburg. The ideal candidate is a team player who communicates effectively and enjoys collaboration, eager to learn and tackle new challenges in a fast-paced environment. We value a strong theoretical understanding combined with practical experience in programming, software processes, problem-solving, and collaboration.

About the role

You will combine your understanding of software processes with problem-solving and collaboration skills. The role requires a proactive, self-directed individual who can lead, apply a holistic and strategic approach, and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Drive and take ownership of software release processes
• Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth releases
• Apply a holistic and strategic approach to release management
• Lead and improve software configuration and release workflows

Requirements

• MSc/BSc in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Management, Electrical, Electronics, Embedded Software, System Controls & Mechatronics, or similar
• Good knowledge of software release processes
• Ability to grasp holistic concepts while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proactive, self-directed, and structured problem-solving approach
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Qualifications

• Experience in release management, configuration management, or Scrum Master roles
• System administration, project management, or project leadership experience
• Experience in the automotive industry is meritorious
