Software Quality Assurance Technician

What You'll Do

• Play a key role in ensuring software, mobile applications, and electronic security products meet the highest standards.
• Work alongside Product Managers, Software Developers, and Hardware Engineers to identify issues, improve product performance, and help deliver reliable, innovative solutions.
• Perform manual testing on new and existing software and electronic security products.
• Execute functional, regression, performance, usability, and acceptance testing.
• Develop, review, and update detailed test plans.
• Document test results and accurately report defects using bug-tracking software.
• Reproduce customer-reported issues and verify software fixes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve product issues.
• Participate in project handoff meetings and provide testing updates.
• Help improve testing processes and contribute to continuous quality improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of software quality assurance or testing experience.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Strong critical thinking, investigative, and troubleshooting skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Analytical, curious, and eager to learn.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing organization.
