About the Role
This is a remote Software Quality Assurance Engineer role. The Software Quality Assurance Engineer will design and execute test plans and test cases to validate the quality, performance, and reliability of the AICines.ai platform.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing across web and backend services.
- Identify and document defects.
- Collaborate closely with software developers and product teams to clarify requirements.
- Verify fixes and contribute to quality standards.
- Maintain test documentation and support release cycles.
- Help improve QA processes and tools to ensure a consistent, high-quality user experience for creators and partners.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Software Quality, Quality Assurance, and Software Quality Assurance practices.
- Hands-on experience with Manual Testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Understanding of Software Development concepts and life cycle, and ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools, test management systems, and basic scripting or automation concepts is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Attention to detail, clear written and verbal communication skills, and a structured approach to problem-solving.
- Experience testing media, streaming, or AI-based applications is a plus.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment and independently in a remote setup.
