Software Quality Assurance Analyst

About the role

Programs, analyzes, and runs tests on new or modified software programs. Conducts compatibility tests with vendor-provided programs. Runs in-depth testing, detects problems, recommends solutions, and determines if program requirements have been met. Recommends program improvements or corrections to programmers. Writes, revises, and verifies quality standards and test procedures for program design and product evaluation. Monitors program performance after implementation to prevent reoccurrence of program operating problems and ensure efficiency of operation.

Requirements

• Active U.S. Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, mathematics, statistics, business, engineering, or physical science
• 6 years of experience with Data Analysis, Statistical Analysis, Problem Solving, Content Management, Software, and Network Programming
• Ability to sit for extended periods, use hands and fingers for input devices, and communicate effectively
• Ability to lift and/or move equipment weighing up to 25 pounds
