Software Quality Analyst
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
- Automation & Testing
- Strong experience in automation using Selenium, ReadyAPI, and Rest Assured
- Experience in microservices and REST API testing/automation
- Hands-on experience building test automation frameworks using: JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber (BDD with Gherkin), Appium, Postman, REST/JSON APIs
- Experience in UI and API automation using Java (WebDriver, TestNG), Groovy scripting
- Experience in messaging and IVR testing
- Experience with Selenium Grid for parallel execution across browsers
- Knowledge of Extent Reports 2.0
- API, Data & Backend Validation
- Build and execute SQL queries for database validation
- Validate APIs using Swagger documentation
- Experience with Kafka topics and consumer validation
- Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., Couchbase)
- Performance testing experience using JMeter or BlazeMeter
- Tools & DevOps
- Experience with Atlassian tools: Jira (project/defect tracking), Stash / Git (version control), Bamboo (CI/CD)
- Hands-on experience with: Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, Maven build tools, Docker (pipeline automation)
- Experience contributing to or working with enterprise automation frameworks
- Programming & Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on coding ability in: Java (preferred), JavaScript, SQL
- Solid understanding of: Data structures & algorithms, Concurrency and multithreading
- Understanding of cloud-based web application architecture
- Experience with AWS deployment technologies
- Experience with CI automation pipelines in cloud environments
- Additional Skills
- Experience with AI-assisted quality engineering (debugging, test generation, risk analysis)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate complex application flows into test cases
- Strong communication skills for: Reporting results, Defect tracking, Cross-team coordination (US and offshore teams)
- Front-End Exposure (Nice to Have)
Qualifications
- US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the US
- Strong hands-on coding ability in: Java (preferred), JavaScript, SQL
- Solid understanding of: Data structures & algorithms, Concurrency and multithreading
