Software Process Engineer - Development Standards and Gen AI

Job Summary

Responsibilities

- Develop a deep understanding of software development concepts, practices, and tools used at MathWorks and within the industry. - Lead organizational adoption of new content, technologies, Gen AI tools and workflows, processes, and standards through thoughtful change management strategies. - Partner with senior leaders to identify issues and opportunities related to software development standards. Develop clear, well-scoped problem statements and drive related projects to completion. - Identify and collect metrics and KPIs for adoption, success, and progress against business drivers. Analyze and report to stakeholders, business partners, and senior management. - Find creative ways to support staff member growth and learning, such as producing self-serve resources and instructor-led training events.

Minimum Qualifications

- A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree, or equivalent experience) is required.

Additional Qualifications

- BA or MA, ideally in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field. - Experience in a software development organization. - Experience in software development life cycle. - Exceptional communication skills including clear and concise writing, an engaging presentation style and strong group facilitation skills. - Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and roles to get results and build strong relationships.
