Software Integration & Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate hardware modules into combat vehicle systems
• Integrate software components onto Linux operating systems
• Develop and execute automated and manual software verification tests
• Build and maintain software and hardware integration testbeds
• Use configuration management and issue tracking tools such as Git, Jira, and Gitlab
• Communicate effectively with engineering and customer stakeholders
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in real-time embedded software
• Mentor junior software test engineers
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, controls, and systems disciplines
• Ensure technical approaches align with engineering principles and standards
• Validate that product outcomes meet customer needs and quality requirements

Qualifications

• Develop, debug, and execute automated and manual requirements-based software verification testing
• Integrate and test software on real-time operating systems such as Linux/Unix derivatives, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux
• Build and maintain software and hardware integration testbeds
• Use configuration management and issue tracking tools such as Git, Jira, and Gitlab
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong programming skills in C++, Python, and BASH
• Experience developing, analyzing, and reviewing requirements for safety-critical real-time embedded software

Pay

Up to $49/hr W2
