About the role
The Software Integration Engineer will execute and maintain automated integration and system testing processes across a diverse range of HPC operating environments. This role involves developing scripts and playbooks for system-level integration, creating technical documentation, coordinating integration activities, and communicating results to key stakeholders. Additionally, the role includes conducting performance, functional, redundancy, and failover testing to ensure system stability and reliability under various conditions.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Experience with the Linux CLI and Linux tools
- Recent experience using Bash/Python to develop scripts for HPC system testing
- Recent Linux administration experience in an HPC multi-host/multi-instance environment
- Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues in an HPC environment
- Experience with tracking and reporting issues to key stakeholders
- Experience configuring and sustaining VMware ESXi/Virtualization environments
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and automation tools including Ansible
- Familiarity with metrics and monitoring tools for data ingestion, indexing, searching, monitoring, and analysis
- Experience with network monitoring tools, including configuration, analysis, and troubleshooting in HPC systems
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab CI
- Experience with Git source control system
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field with at least ten (10) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment
- Five (5) years full-time Computer Science directly related work that can be substituted for a degree and at least ten (10) years of demonstrable experience
- An industry recognized professional certification, as defined in the TT0s, may substitute as one (1) year experience
- A Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field may substitute for two (2) years experience
Skills
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
- Familiarity with Agile software development principles, methodologies, and best practices
