Software Installation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite software installations in support of the local lab environment.
• Perform system and network configurations, data migrations, and system verifications/testing.
• Test formatted message processing on all iterations of the project software.
• Collaborate with various personnel to troubleshoot and resolve system problems related to networking, applications, system access, and formatted message processing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field; or three years equivalent experience or equivalent military experience.
• Active Secret security clearance required; must be willing to upgrade to TS/SCI.
• Security+ certification required.
• At least one Red Hat certification required.
• 1+ years of experience with software installation.
• Experience with Command, Control, Communications, and Intelligence (C4I) systems.
• Familiarity with military message formats (e.g., USMTF, XML, CMF, JSON, etc.).
• Willing and able to travel to customer sites both CONUS and OCONUS as needed.
