About the Role
The Electronic Systems Laboratory (ELSYS) of the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) is seeking technical personnel to be part of an established software team in the Open Systems Integration and Test (OSIT) branch of the Air National Guard Programs Division (ANGPD) for the Fall 2026 semester in the Arizona field office. The software team employs a modern software engineering process to design, code, integrate, and test capabilities on a continuous basis, resulting in mature and quality solutions for customers. The team strives for technical excellence by leveraging a diverse workforce with expertise spanning the complete spectrum of modern computing languages and platforms.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, or related field
- Must be registered for at least 6 credit hours with your university
- 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA
- U.S. Citizenship (required due to research contracts with the U.S. federal government)
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams
- Strong math skills
- Experience with one or more of the following:
- Python, C++, Java
- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
- Linux networking, TCP/IP, VLAN, 5G/LTE, IoT (MQTT/Modbus)

10–20 hours per week
